Educated in Advertising, Design, Screenwriting & Filmmaking, Jonathan Tvrdik has spent the past 15 years telling stories and directing experiences through all manner of media. Thanks to a borderline-unhealthy obsession with Bruce Wayne, he has learned to effectively work in several places at once.
Jon has directed multiple short films and music videos for bands such as Mynabirds, Azure Ray, and Conduits, winning the Freshman MTVU Award. He also directed and edited the documentary “One of My Kind: the Story of Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band,” distributed by Causecast.org.
In addition to his work in film, Jon acts as Executive Creative Director of Phenomblue, a connected communications firm, conceiving and overseeing hundreds of global technology and creative initiatives for clients including Samsun, Diet Coke, eBay Inc. and Nike.
When not telling stories, Jon keeps his dance card full by owning a craft beer bar, consulting for his wife’s e-retailer, and staying connected to the punk and DIY scene that helped birth his profound sense of ambition.
Jon has BA’s in Advertising & Graphic Design from Creighton University and a Professional Certificate in Screenwriting from UCLA Extension.
