Whether directing commercials for content creators Torchwerks or leading as chief creative partner for Juggernaut Interactive, Jonathan tends to keep his dance card full. When not working with many of the world's most exciting brands, you can find the world-travelled musician making his own films, serving on the Board of Directors of an arts foundation, or relaxing in a beer bar he co-founded.

Past adventures include Experience Design Director of Phenomblue, BA's in advertising and graphic design and professional certification from UCLA in screenwriting.

A borderline unhealthy obsession with Bruce Wayne has the fortunate side effect of enabling him to be in exactly one zillion places at once.

“Cinema is the most beautiful fraud in the world.”

Fueled by a lifelong obsession with film, Jonathan has spent the better part of the last decade studying, practicing and refining his craft as screenwriter and film director. Sparked by two stints in the Lew Hunter screenwriting colony, Jonathan decided to continue his education and study screenwriting at UCLA, where he graduated with professional certification. By co-founding H-Minus Productions with colleagues Jonathan Purcell and Drew Billings, Jonathan has been able to produce and direct his own films, as well as co-direct and edit a documentary for Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band. In early 2011, Jonathan began directing commercials full-time with Ben Drickey for Torchwerks.

Juggernaut is the only creative technology lab that takes outside requests for breakthrough technical development. They're the guys who code apps at night after work, and build their prototypes on the weekends. They just do it during the day. They are the designers, animators, dreamers, editors, inventors, and developers who all quit their day jobs to do what they love.
